Biography

Rasheda Hamilton, a native of Lee County, Arkansas, earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Sociology from Arkansas State University. With over 15 years of experience in higher education, Ms. Hamilton has worked with a wide range of students from all levels of socioeconomic and academic backgrounds. Before working with Transition Studies, she worked with the Upward Bound program, a Federal TRiO program, helping low income and first-generation college students develop their academic dreams into their realities. Her career goal has been to help students become their own advocates with a logical understanding of “how to do school”.
